GPoints in the Philippines!

Christianne the scout here. As you all know, my dearest brother and sister have wrote in this blog - now Mom told them that I get to write this time! HAHAHA.

I just want to share some thoughts when Mom topped up a hella lot GPoints last week.

As you all know, Gpoints, or GP, the currency in Granado Espada for Premium Items are very expensive in the Philippines T.T (Don't ask me why; that's just the way it is.)

Cards range from 50 pesos to 750 pesos.


GP Equivalents

• 50 Pesos - 750 GP
• 100 Pesos - 1800 GP
• 300 Pesos - 5800 GP
• 750 Pesos - 18000 GP

So obviously the higher you go, the cheaper 1GP=peso is. Here's the computation of 1GP to Peso and vice versa.

• 50 pesos >>> 1 peso = 15 GP or 1GP = .067 pesos
  
• 100 pesos >>> 1 peso = 18 GP or 1GP = .056 pesos
  
• 300 pesos >>> 1 peso = 19.33 GP or 1 GP = .052 pesos
  
• 750 pesos >>> 1 peso = 24 GP or 1GP = .042 pesos

Also, the higher you go, more and more Adelina's Booty Searches are credited to your account.
For those who don't know, Adelina's Booty Search is an online flash game in which you can luckily find rare items and equipments :)

• 280 GP - 1
• 750 GP- 2
• 1800 GP - 3
• 5800 GP - 10
• 18000 GP - 15
• 35000 GP - 20
• 70000 GP - 30

Italicized ones are not available via E-Pins and Physical Cards in the Philippines - only through credit cards in online shops if you really wish to buy them.

That's the only downside of Granado Espada in the Philippines :( I wish they can give us physical cards or E-pins for the 35k or 70k GP. Sigh. That would really make a difference to everyone.

But then of course, until Thursday, May 15, 2008, there still are bonuses for GPs 750 and 1800.

So it's
50 pesos = 750 + 250 GP + 1 Enchantment Booster + 2 ABS
100 pesos = 1800 + 700 GP + 3 Enchantment Boosters + 3 ABS

Don't you think that's awfully sweet of IAH Games? :D

So now, it's WISER to top up 6 x 50 Pesos or 3 x 100 Pesos rather than buying 1 300-peso Card.

Why?

See this:
50 x 6 = 300 pesos
1000 GP x 6 = 6000 GP
6 Enchantment Boosters, 12 ABS

100 x 3 = 300 pesos
2500 GP x 3 = 7500 GP
9 Enchantment Boosters, 9 ABS

300 x 1 = 300 pesos
1800 GP
10 ABS


So which one would you choose? More ABS or More GP & Boosters?

It's just that it's so haaaaard finding 100-peso cards now >.<
